I have read and read forums and could not find anything related to what I am looking for. I am looking for a way to use the ##GPS function to collect the Lat/Long information to send back through a EVDO (sprint) VPN connection to use for tracking (AVL) and not LBS or directional. Can I just collect this information? Can this be done? Currently using Panasonic CF18, running Windows Tablet. _________________ Lost in Space |

Currently it is a "pull" system where a host has to grab data from the KR1.
On the 8081 port it contains Google Earth / Google Map KMZ and KML files with the data since the unit was on and the GPS data started coming in.
You can also use gpsd ports or the raw port to grab the GPS stream. GPSD will also return the position every time you send "p" as a lat/lon pair. |
