Hello,
I just recently bought a usb 720 and I have verison.
I have noticed vz2acess manager under usage that I have connected to national or broadband most of the time.. However I also have noticed that I have connected under quick2connect which is 25 cents a min..
I called verison and they said that is impossible because I only show broadband and nation acess connections with new software should not be able to connect to quick2connect.. So they said they would not charge me for the quick2connect and would block my connection to it..
Now however I am getting connections that say other instead of quick2connect... When I connect every time I have never ever seen my connection say anything other than national acess or broadband rev A acess!!
However I do see these under usage..
I hope they are not going to charge me anything more!!
also with the 59.99 plan that I have cause I am already a verison cell phone customer that is normally 79.99 that is unlimited access correct??
Anyone have any ideas why I am getting these stange usage connections that verison says cant be happening?
Is there roaming charges with my plan??
thanks,..
Also sorry but does anyone know to tweak the settings on the usb 720 I have the y connector installed and my max is 761 down and 185 up. I tried to change setting usings the drtcp and actually made it worse went down to 343 down and 121 up?
I know I am asking alot but this is my 1st post trying to learn a new way to connect and make the best of it!
thanks again..

With the speeds you are getting, you are not using the Quick2Net service.

Yes, the BroadbandAccess/NationalAccess plan is 79.99 without a qualifying voice-plan, or $59.99 with a qualifying voice-plan.

As long as you are connected to the NationalAccess or BroadbandAccess service, you shouldn't be charged for Quick2Net access. I don't know why you would want to connect to Quick2Net as it is VERY slow, and NationalAccess is available anywhere you have Verizon service in the US.

I am not wanting to connect to quick2net! It was connecting on its own!
I dont know why? I have never seen it connect to quick2net but it is in v2acess manager usage area..
thanks for the reply though..
