I am confused about how to go for broadband connection. (I have searched the forums and haven't found the answer.)
My 2 year Verizon agreement is almost up, so I was thinking of getting the newest Treo when it comes out, and getting the data package, so I could use my Treo as a modem. I did that starting about 4 years ago with my Treo 300 on Sprint. Although it was dial-up speeds, I feel fairly sure it would be a lot faster now.
Or, should I go with a PC EVDO card? I sense this is more purpose-built, but will it be faster and more reliable? (And I won't have data access on my Treo, so why get a treo anymore, just get a good phone?)
I spend several weeks a year in an area where only Verizon service is very good, so Sprint is not an option this time around.
Thanks for any thoughts! |
