Looking to replace the antenna that is on the unit with a higher gain one, are there any available that can be attached with a cable??
Also what type of screw connection is the type that comes with the antenna on the KR1, looking for a patch cable?? |

I don't think these are likely to be good choices for PCS. They are 2.4 GHz antennas and PCS is at 1.8 to 1.98 GHz and on the order of 20% away in frequency.
Co-linear element antennas ( small 'gain' antennas that look like a vertical spike with some matching/phasing globs in the middle) tend to be fairly narrow band ( a few percent at most) and may not even work as well as a lesser antenna very far from design center.
For 850 MHz it's quite unlikely that they'd be a good choice.

ooops!
Thought you were trying to make the EVDO port work better.
For WiFi use any of them and put them over a small ground plane and at least a couple of feet away from anything else.
