|
|
So I purchased the Freedom Antenna from EvdoInfo/3G and it gave a slight boost to my download. I went from 700k-800k to consistently hitting 800k. But it reduced my Upload speed to 100K (down from 150-180K)...what gives? Isn't an antenna supposed to either help or do nothing, but not reduce your connection? I'm only using the cables that came with the antenna (so we're only talking about maybe 2 feet). Would an amp actually do anything for me, or would that be a pointless purchase?
Also does anything for EVDO actually work right? The routers reduce your upload by 20-50%, the antenna reduce it further...seriously what is going on with this technology. |

Hello,
I couldn't find your email address in our list of customers - perhaps you purchased under a different email address.
Your best bet is to send an email to support at 3gstore.com, that will automatically create a support ticket for you. Please include your invoice number and what EVDO card and carrier you are using. Also, make sure the included cables are not "coiled up", but rather uncoiled. Also, include your location where you are using it (Address, city, state, zip). Finally, include what your signal strengths were without the antenna (RSSI or dBM) and then after installing the antenna and waiting a few minutes, what your new signal strength is like. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| Yes I did purchase through another e-mail address. I'm using the Linksys Router...how would I find my speed in dbm or RSSI under these conditions? |
