Would KR1 recognize another peripheral in Phone In?

I have a Dell USB 1450 wireless adapter with my Dell desktop in order to make use of my EVDO, with a Novatel U 720. Now that I have the KR1, wonder if it would work correctly if I simply attached it to the wireless card and not to the PC. I was thinking I could attach a USB hub so that my modem and adapter would both be connected to the KR1, but would it accept a hub sort of peripheral?

If so, I could lose the PC tower and have a tidier setup. Why does the computer need to be part of this mix?

Speak slowly to me.

I'm not sure I follow what you're wanting to do...

The U720 should work with KR1 when loaded with the RK1010 Firmware. You can download the new firmware from Kyocera-wireless.com support area.

If you bought the KR1 from 3gstore.com, depending on when you bought it, it may have come with the RK1010 firmware on CD.

Any amplifying data on your request will help steer better responses..

Thanks, I've got it all worked out now. U720's in the KR1, all good.
