HELP! Linksys Problems, should I switch to KR-1?

I purchased the Linksys Router from the Evdo Info/3GStore and have been having some problems. I'm using the Pantech PX-500 (Sprint) and I'm having some of the disconnect issues that other users are having (blue light stays on but connection is lost, have to reset router/card to reconnect). I also just learned today about the upload speeds being halved by the router; which I really wished I'd know before because it's now 2 days past my 14-day return (which is way too short since it took the router a week to get here...) I wouldn't care about that but the entire reason I bought the router was to play Xbox Live. So...

Should I switch to the KR-1 (and waste the $250 spent on the Linksys)?
Should I use a different card and stick with the Linksys?
Or does someone have any other suggestions?

Please help an overwhelmed and sad Evdo newbie.

I wouldn't mind exchanging it, that'd be great if it solves both problems. But I've already seen another thread where someone seemed to have a similar problem with the KR1 and the PX-500. I just totally lost as to whether a router swap will fix this...

Also in the past D-Link routers were very troublesome with Xbox Live. Does anyone know if the KR-1 (since D-Link is involved with the product) has problems with Xbox Live?
