Has any one had their antenna adapter port pin shear off of the circuit board ? I was using the Wilson 357014 antenna adapter on the right port (white pin). When I removed the adapter the pin sheared off and pulled free with the adapter. This is the adapter suggested by the Telus dealer here in Alberta, Canada. The adapter fits into the port and onto the pin very tightly.
Now I can not get Telus, the dealer or Kyocera to help with repairing or replacing the PC card.
All that I have contacted said it was misuse that caused the pin to shear.
I beg to differ. The adapter was just too tight.
Any suggestion getting this thing fixed ?
Who is accountable ?

It's going to be tough to get a replacement or repair under a warranty. The possible silver lining of the situation is that a new card will be required to take advantage of Telus' deployment of EVDO Rev. A in the next 6 months. Telus is currently offering the Sierra 595 card which is Rev. A capable. The benefits of Rev A are signiificant enough that you'll probably want to upgrade to Rev A anyway.

I was in a bind with the Kyocera breaking, had to buy a new card so I opted for the Sierra 595. Still out the $ 250 that I just spent on the Passport 650 in December. Thanks for the reply.
