Router Settings-EVDO only???

This is my first post to this site. I am impressed with the quality of help and answers here and hopefully someone can help!! Do any 3G mobile routers have settings to allow "EVDO ONLY". I am currently trying a Dlink DIR450 with good success but would prefer a router that can be put in EVDO ONLY mode because my 1xrtt and EVDO signal strengths are similar (-75dBm/-70dBm). Also if I adjust settings for my Noveltel S720 while the card is in my laptop using the Connection Manager...do these settings remain in memory of the card when inserted into the router? Thanks for the help

the settings should remain with the card, the router won't control or change it.

Hello,

I just received the dir 450 and haven't been able to get it to connect. I am not trying to change the topic here, but any help would be greatly appreciate it. Particularly on the section where it's asking for the logon information for my verizon account. D Link and Verizon haven't been any help at all.
