Hi All,
I recently got this card on eBay and the seller said it works with VZW (unlocked). In the past couple days I've been dealing with Verizons customer service trying to get it to work with BroadbandAccess. On the first day we did a manual activation which got NationalAccess working but not BroadbandAccess. I was in an area with coverage, and it was even confirmed by their CS. I even drove around to other areas just to make sure. The wizard, activation, and manual activation was done many times with no luck. They said they don't see my card getting a PRL update on their end, so I suspect that it's stuck with the Alltel PRL. Does anyone have an updated Verizon PRL binary I can use? (with the manual activation PRL file box- Ctrl+D) Or have suggestions on how I might be able to get BroadbandAccess to work?

I've tried the PRL update via dialing into *22899, changing my SID (though I didn't expect anything from that). Verizon says get a new card, I guess I eventually will, but I suspect the card isn't broken, maybe just not unlocked as claimed.

Here is some extra info:
PRL Version: 3917
ERI Version: 1

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Marc

The other issue, when purchasing a card off ebay, is that you should get the ESN number of the card and CONFIRM with the carrier that you CAN activate it on their network. Read this link for more information:

Here is a web site that knows a LOT about PRLs and they allow you to download them, give them a try:
