Static IP address

Is my ip adress static with my evdo card....if not is there a way to make it a static ip adress, could i call verizon?

You do not get a fixed IP Address on BroadbandAccess, it is dynamic.

You can pay a one time fee to Verizon for $500 (that is not a typo), and you can get a static IP Address for your Verizon EVDO Data card. This can be done at time of order - I will check to see if you can get it if you already have service.

OK, just confirmed the pricing. It is $500 one time setup fee and then the same monthly fee. Be careful, the first guy at Verizon I spoke with, said it was a "couple hundred dollars a month". It is not, it is the same monthly, just the one time setup fee and yes, you can get it on existing accounts (you need to Call Verizon direct for that), or you can get a static IP, when you purchase new cards & service.
