Geez!! You're getting some mighty good numbers there! I seriously doubt you're going to get much better than that. I think signal strength maxes out at -50. I guess you could get latency down a bit more but I'd be surprised if you do. Can't imagine an amp being worth investing in since I would think you'd see a minimal improvement at best. But it's your money!! I would bet most people on this forum would do pert near anything for those numbers!!!
BTW, what kind of DL/UL speeds are you seeing? Are you in a Rev A area? How close to the tower are you? What part of the country are you in? Is it a highly populated area? Details details!! |

That is sweet! I had no idea there were any hills in Florida except where they build one whenever they need an overpass!! |

OMG!!! I would kill for those kinds of numbers!! as it is... Im going to spend an awful lot of money improving my signal from none at all to the 92-97 dbi im at now just to try and get something in the mid 80's! As far as improving your latency, I really dont think the amp is going to help you all that much. Especially since your latency is on the low side now for evdo. At my house, my latency is right around 125-135ms on the REV a service. My download/upload speeds arent that great at 500/350 but thats do to the low signal im currently receiving 92-97 dbi. At the coffee shop Im sitting in at the moment im getting a solid 68 dbi signal. Download/upload speeds are 1250/800 but my latency is at 146! which is higher than at home.. i have no idea why.. but as you can see.. a better signal isnt helping with my latency at all..
cheers! |
