|
|
Hi - I've recently purchased an LG8600 mostly for the phone but find that I'm beginning to use it for EVDO - it's way convenient. The problem is that I'm not getting the thruput that I'm used to - mostly I suspect because of the lack of external antenna.
Is there anything that I might be able to use to push the signal up for this?
Thanks!

The LG VX8600 uses adapter model number 359921.
I would recommend starting with the Booster-Antenna and RF adapter. If the booster antenna does not give you the added coverage, you may want to try an inline amplifier and Omni directional exterior antenna. |

I have a booster antenna that I got for my Kyocera 650 which would work - I just don't see anywhere on the phone that the antenna cable would hook in. There is a small round plug? on the back - is the antenna plug under this?
I'll gladly order the cable and adapter if this is the key.
Thanks,

There is a small rubber plug on the back of the phone that you will have to remove. Under the plug is the RF port. |
