Hi - I have an LG8600 now and am trying to get it to work with the KR1. It works very nicely directly with a laptop (which is what I'm using now) as long as it has a good signal (picture me holding it up to the window!!)

When I plug it into the KR1 I get no action at all. It's like it doesn't see it. I'm currently using the KR1 with the Kyocera 650 and love it but have a need to use the phone when my wife is traveling.

Any suggestions? I'm using firmware 1008 so that's not an issue.

Thanks,
Ken

The LG8600 is not currently supported by the KR1. You check out which phones are supported at http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/kr1-router/tech-specs.htm

Thanks - that's the pits. Their list is very small indeed. Hopefully they'll add it at some point. In the meantime I'll see about ICS working for me.

Thanks,
Ken
