Odd problem with turbotax e-filing

I've had a KR-1 and a KPC650 for a couple of months now with Verizon and have had only a few of disconnects (red Status light). We finished our taxes using Turbotax and when we went to e-file, it would never complete. We tried it three times and every time it would knock out the connection. At the same point in the process, the Status and WAN LEDs would go out and stay out until I restarted the KR-1. The wireless on the KR-1 is enabled, but my computer is hooked up directly. I finally had to hook up my cell phone and E-filed through that.
