I came across this tech doc from Cisco that outlines the new 3G router WAN HWICs. I'm not sure if you can see the link without a valid Cisco account: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2641/products_module_installation_guide_chapter09186a00807ecd4b.html#wp1059309 Basically there are two new router HWICs that allow you to connect to either a GSM/HSDPA network or a CDMA / EVDO network, including Rev A. This is great news for a failover interface for people that already use Cisco 1800/2800/3800 ISR's (like me).
