Rumour - Clearwire to offer broadband mobile card?

Just got off the phone with a Clearwire representative, and in the course of dealing with some customer service issues for me, she mentioned that Clearwire is getting ready to roll out a mobile broadband solution 'very soon'. I innocently asked 'you mean, like a PC card kind of thing, for a laptop?' and she said yes.

Poked around on the internet and on EVDOinfo for rumours about this, but didn't come across anything. The rep did indicate several times that this new service - along with some speed increases to their home-based WiMAX solution - isn't listed on their website, but that the details would be released 'soon'.

Anyone else heard anything like this?
