3Gstore.com has gone through the stringent requirements to get an Extended Validation SSL Certificate (also known as EV SSL). This helps protect consumers and is NOT available to just any online company!

To qualify for an EV SSL certification, applicants must go through extensive independent review and validation to prove they are who they say they are. Many companies will apply for EV SSL, but only a few, like 3Gstore.com, will be able to prove themselves worthy of the certification.

There are a lot of internet scams out there, and when you are entering your credit card info, or even worse, when you are ordering a Verizon or Sprint card, you are required to enter your social security number and other confidential information. Any site can use 'industry-standard' SSL to encrypt your connection, but have you ever noticed how the URLs change to some other domain name when you are ordering? Many of these sites collect your personal info and then email your personal info in clear text via email (very bad).

Effective immediately we are now using the "green bar" feature of Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP and Vista to help ensure the privacy and security for our customers. More info about EV SSL on 3Gstore is at:

3Gstore.com Now Even More Secure - EVDOinfo.com

For those of you that are Mac users or are not running IE7, you will not see a green bar in your browser when you are shopping at a site with EV SSL. We hope that other browsers will support this important feature soon and we encourage consumers to require this extra validation BEFORE purchasing anything over the internet.
