Hey guys ive recently been reading up on this thread and its been very helpful i want to thank everyone for their help.
I`ve changed my DNS to the one that was recommeneded and also have ran some test on the DRTCP i`ve increased my download speed from around 750 to up in the 1300-1400kb.
But with changing all these test my upload speed has decreased from around 150 to now its in the 60s i was wondering what tweaks i can do to keep my download speed up in where it is but also increase my upload speed... please help!! |

I had to register just to thank you for posting this VALUABLE information. I was a 1200kbps MAX speed on speedtest.net kind of guy. Never had I seen over 1250, and both were all rare occasions. I used DRTCP021, tried the tcp tweak listed in the first post, and BAM, 1700kbps speeds! I couldn't believe it.
Then I read on to see 'other' recommendations saying 'this' one was stupid, and 'theirs' worked better.
I had to try, I'm greedy.... BAM, back to even slower speeds. So, I went back to the previous original post's advice, and I was back to my high speeds again. I can't believe it. Everything is awesome.
I used to get 800kbps to 200kbps throughout some of the day, but today, I haven't been under 800kbps at all. Truly amazed. Thanks again.
USB720 Verizon modem, btw. -76 to -79 on reception (4 bars... for 5 minutes, I had 5 bars on ONE occasion, but 76-78 really gives good ping for me)
I'm a gamer, big difference between pinging 200ms (like when I had dial up) than pinging 115 (like now during most parts of the day). |

| So... the consensus is that Vista users are in the dark for this tweak? What if you ran it anyway? |

| I apologize if this has been covered, but do I need to run TCP on every computer connected to the network? |
