I've hard this card since it came out and I'm fairly happy with it.

I've had three minor issues and I'm wondering if there are any solutions or if the "powers-that-be" can forward this to Franklin.

1. I get connections dropping in and out throughout the day (signal of -79 to -85 db). Is there anyway to force it to reconnect automatically? The connection is more unstable in the morning, and becomes rather solid by the afternoon.

2. The card likes to start the day by switching into 1xRTT shortly after connecting (even though I have a good EVDO signal). Unplugging the card, then reconnecting it once or twice seems to solve the problem.

3. When the signal drops sometimes, the modem goes into "Modem is busy" mode. I have unplug and reconnect.

Any ideas on the above? The card has been fine for me, just a bit annoying every now and then. Now if only this thing did Rev. A Smile

Jeremy, since you're a 3GStore.com (formerly Booster-Antenna.com) the "powers-that-be" will certainly forward anything on to Franklin. ;]

Look for an e-mail to follow shorlty.

Thanks for the quick response guys.

For the benefit of others who may read this: The 3GStore guys have opened a support ticket for me. If I learn anything that might help others, I'll post it here for others.

Hope this does reflect badly on the CDU-550, I'm quite happy with my card and I've had very few problems with it (I've owned other Verizon cards and it's better).
