Hello,
I am trying to get my pantech px-500 working with a 2.6.19.2 kernel. I have tried the following:
using cdc-adm kernel module
using airprime module patched with right device id
using usbserial with device and vendor ids passed as params at load time
In all cases I get a serial device created either ttyACM0 or ttyUSB0 depending on the driver I use. But in all cases when I attempt to use the modem I get the following error:
I am not sure if this a kernel problem, or pppd problem and am not really sure where to start. I would like to avoid going back to an older kernel but
I guess would do that if its my only option.
