This just in....

We are getting our first shipment on MONDAY 3/19/2007 (A few weeks early). These will go fast, so if you want one, place your order soon. After our first shipment is sold out, it may be another 10 - 14 days before we get more.

https://3gstore.com/verizon/cards.php

As soon as there are sold out, we will update our order form (if they are still available, it will say 'Limited Supplies'. When our first shipment is sold out, it will change to "Backorder")

Purchased the v740 on 3/23...returned on 3/24. Would not work on 64 bit Vista. Told by Verizon support "not 64 bit compatible" as they showed me is indicated on their web site. What are other options???

A lot of people who are buying vista are finding out that its nowhere near ready for primetime.

if you just bought a laptop that had vista pre-installed, maybe you can still return it?

its hard to know when vista will have signed driver support on a widespread basis.

i'd never bet money on microsoft.

used to be, only us Mac diehards were slighted or treated as 2nd citizens.

its funny to watch vista users get the same kind of treatment.

funny stupid.
not funny haha.

well ok. maybe funny haha too.

Shocked

Did Verizon say that they're at least working on a 64-bit driver?

The Verizon V740 express card is now working on my Vista 64 bit Laptop as of April 12, 2007.

Not cheap. But it is fast and portable.
