Thanks for the update Michael. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed at the news.
Can you give us your best guess as to whether this is a hardware incompatibility issue or something that could possibly be fixed with a future Linksys firmware update? |

I am sure it will be fixed in a future LinkSys Firmware upgrade.
I thought it was ironic that the other routers worked and the "Sprint" one didn't. I was disappointed too, lets see how long it takes Sprint/Linksys to fix the firmware.
As soon, as it is, we will update this thread. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

Is there any update on this topic? A Sprint rep told me today that the EX720 with PCMCIA adapter card would "definitely" work with the WRT54G3G-ST router. When I called Linksys, the technician said "That configuration hasn't been tested. You can try it and see if it works..."
Has anyone gotten this configuration to work yet? |

Is there any news at all about this and the future prospects for compatability? I would love to be able use an express card in my express card slot as well as in the modem to be able to use my G5, and my G4 cube at home.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Barbara |

Indeed, my MacBookPro is being dropped off today to replace my trusty Latitude and it's PC Card slot. _________________ --Larry |

| I just received my EX720, and also would like to use it with the Linksys router. I see the router listed under a picture of the EX720 when I log into my Sprint account, but that's not a guarantee that it will work. Is there any update on whether it works since Sprint's latest firmware release? |

Bad News: The EX720 still does NOT work with the Linksys Router.
Good News: 3GStore.com has found an ExpressCard to USB adapter that we have tested, and will be selling and supporting!
Watch for our announcement next week. |

Do you happen to know if Sprint/Linksys is pursuing allowing the EX720 + [expresscard -> pc card adapter] work? _________________ --Larry |

Already tried it with KR1. didn't work. sorry.
No clue what Sprint/Linksys are thinking. It amazes me as well. |
