speed test site

I just wanted to share another useful site with eveyone here...I have been using it to tune my pc and old dial up connections and get answers to questions about pc and connection releated issues for 7 years or so ....

also, I am a new member to this forum and have been reading for days on end now .... there is so much useful information here and alot of helpful links .....I wanted to thank those in charge of this site for having it and keeping it running.....I have made several decisions based on this site and will definatly be sending more people here to read up on so many helpful topics....

I recently bought the sprint novatel u720 usb modem and I to like many others sit right on the edge of an evdo network here in central ohio....I get the 1xrtt signal with four and five bars and -80 to 82 dbm but I am stuck in roam .....I have touched the evdo network and saw it show up in the connection manager but have been unable to see the evdo download speeds....I currently am downlaoding at 115 to 130 kbs and uploads around 70 to 95 kbs....
Sadly though this isnt satisfying me ...I purchased this modem to get evdo speeds ...so what I have decided to do is buy an omni trucker antenna and a wilson amp from Boosterantenna.com or now known as 3gstore.com
and cables to run it to the roof of my home.....I just purchased this on friday and was also informed that I was 3gstore.coms first customer since they switched from antennabooster.com... I have just in one day had excellent customer support form them and look forward to my new products and am almost sure that I will be satisfied with what I recieve on tuesday .... I am very anxious to get my merchandise and will be hooking it up as soon as I get it ... I also will post my results back here on the forum in hopes of helping some fellow buckeyes with there conectile disfuntions as soon as I get everything up and running ....
