Poor wired performance with KR-1

I've removed a KR-1 from service in a retail location where it was used to control a four computer windows xp network with the internet.

Internet performance was excellent, but computer to computer data transfer was agonizingly slow, too slow to support the applications we use.

After trying several suggestions from the selling dealer with no luck, I purchased a PCMIA adapter, a switch, and replaced the router with windows internet connection sharing.

Network performance is now much, much faster than with the KR-1.

When I have time the KR-1 goes on Ebay.
