Now that both cards the Novatel S720 and the Pantech PX-500 work with the WRT54G6G-ST, what card would you keep if you have both (as I do, long story but I have to send one back after I decide)

This thread is being broken off from the original thread, since it was a different topic

I'm in a similar situation. I have both a S720 and a Sierra 595. I haven't tried the 595 yet since I have an antenna hooked into my S720.

A few questions:

- do you need Mac compatibility

- do you need (or want in the future) GPS

- which is more important: best download speed, best upload speed, overall best average upload/download?

- Vista compatibility important?

Good point, I forgot I'm using Vista now and the 595 isn't supported yet.

Dont need mac, dont need GPS, would like most reliable card that has best overall speed. Thanks for your reply. From what I understand the S720 has GPS (I would guess thats a extra charge) and the PX-500 does not. I would like it to work with Vista whenever I upgrade to it.

When using Win XP I always used my 595 card because it has higher and more consistent speeds in my experience.
And on the S720 using GPS there isn't extra charge once you purchase the card.
