Is anyone successfully using a Verizon PC5740 in a DLink DIR-450? (I know, I know... but I didn't make the purchase decision, I just got handed the problem when it didn't work).
The 1.01 firmware purports to support Verizon PC5740's but I get a "connect failed" message when I click on the Connect button on the status page. The wizard doesn't seem to set the connection login parameters. I've tried all the combinations I can think of:
WWAN User Name: <phone#>@vzw3g.net
WWAN Password: Tried both "vzw" and the password scribbled on the Verizon folder.
WWAN Server Name: ...not a clue! ...leaving it blank doesn't seem to work.
WWAN Dial Number: #777
Any suggestions for alternate configurations?
Thanks!

I have the same router, and I have always just left the username and password blank. I'm using a 595 card, but the configuration should be the same. |

I just got my DIR450 to work with the Verizon PC5740. Delete the username and password and leave the server field blank.
As I understand it, all the info is built into the firmware of the card.
