Apple released Mac OS X 10.4.2 today ( more info and download here)
For those that get an automatic dialog box to to upgrade, we have found no problems with using EVDO cards (tested PC5220 - should have no problems with others - if you followed the steps documented at EVDOinfo.com).
Remember, before upgrading:
- run Disk First Aid and Repair Permissions
- download the combo update (see link above), run it
- run Disk First Aid again
You are ready to EVDO with 10.4.2 _________________ EVDO :: 3G Routers :: 3G Antennas :: Verizon Data Cards :: Sprint Data Cards :: CloudCam |

| Michael - Does 10.4.2 add native support (such as on the 5220 with signal strengh indication, etc) for any other EVDO cards? I'm coming close to purchasing an EVDO card for my 15" Powerbook and like the idea of native driver support, but I also would prefer a more recent EVDO card than the 5220. |

| I received the PC5220 today from Booster-Antenna.com, plugged it into my G4 Powerbook with OS X 10.4.2. and as Steve Jobs would say, "It just works." Thanks again for your help. |
