I work on a utility boat in the Gulf of Mexico. When the boat is inshore, the WRT54G3G-ST connects my notebook to the internet. I have the router sitting in the wheelhouse. The walls are made of iron, so I cannot get a signal in my room downstairs. Therefore I plan to place repeaters along the stairway to relay the signal to my room. I'm thinking one would do it if I'm lucky, three at most. Would several repeaters relay at the same speeds as the router? Would I need any additional components?
