Has anyone used the QNC connection with there air-card? I never have but I'm getting ready to go to West. Virginia and that area is somewhat covered by Sprint and Verizon. Cingular is there too. When I went thru there in November it would not connect even thou I had signal. I'd hate to drive 25 miles or so to get signal! How does the QNC connection work? I know it is dial-up speed[14.4] so it's s l o w ! What do I need to do to use it? Is there settings that I need to use? I hope you all out there have tried it once so I can figure out what to do with this thing. Capt. Question

QNC is a 14.4k speed connection, and it is roaming so you will be charged per kb. At least that's the way it is with out stuff here in Mo

I couldn't get it to work in W.Va. where we were. The map for Sprint says it has coverage and so does verzion but when you check Alltel there is no coverage. I had phone service,{ Digital and friendly roaming}.The air- card says that it had friendly service and 77% signal and wouldn't connect. All altel would say is your not in a friendly area. go out and up the hill about two hundred feet and the signal stays the same, but I can connect..Go figure???
