I know we have roaming with sprint and verison,do we have cingular too? I'm going to a area that says version and cingular wireless. When I was there I had nothing, Cell's worked but no ev-do or 1rXTT. I was also wondering if the QNC will work maybe in that area? Question
This is in West Virgina about 40 miles from Winchester Va, on Rt. 50 Between Capon Bridge and Augusta.

I highly doubt it. VerZ Sprint and Alltel all use CDMA based stuff. Cig is GSM based and UTS HSMPA? for thier data whereas the other carriers other then Tmobile use EVDO/1xrtt so I really really doubt it. sorry man

No, evdo is a cdma technology and cingular is made up of gsm and tdma, primarily gsm. if you get any service at all it is not from cingular.

No you wouldn't be able to roam on the Cingular network. Cigular (AT&T)/T-Mobile is GSM, and Sprint/Verizon/Alltel is CDMA, two incompatible services. And currently they don't sell any cards that have both GSM and CDMA abilities, I think.
