U720 Problem connecting to Mac

I have purchased a U720 from Sprint for my Mac and I have downloaded and installed the 720DMG file. I followed the instructions for setting the modem and putting the #777 as the number. It asked for a password, which I left blank and when I applied the changes a password was automatically put in. I clicked the phone icon and the computer tries to get a connection, but after awhile I get a message saying there is a problem with modem settings and to check the settings. I have done everything as instructed. Any suggestions?

The U720 needs to be activated on a PC first.

If you got the device from us , there is an option (no extra charge, except for shipping) on our order form to:

- upgrade firmware to latest
- upgrade PRL
- include CD with latest drivers
- provide free phone support

So, if you got from us, give us a call and we can get you running. If you didn't get from us, hopefully, someone else can chime in to help you, if activating on a PC doesn't solve the problem.
