Anyone else having problems connecting via EVDO this morning? In northwest Chicago my XV6600 hasn't been able to connect for the last few hours. I called Verizon Wireless Tech support and the message indicates an outage they are working on.

Not sure if this is pdas only, data cards, locally or nationally.

I will try a data card when I return to the office in a few hours.

Please post if you are up or down, what you are using AND your location here.

Thanks.

With PC5220 card, I am able to connect, so this MAY be only a PDA issue. Can someone with a XV6600 or i730, see if they can connect.

Thanks.

Now that you mention it... Saturday morning before I had to work, I tried connecting from the parking lot but only had a 1x connection, not EV-DO. I had no problem connecting at 1x speed, and it seemed to run a lot faster than I was expecting, but the VZ app indicated NationalAccess, not BroadbandAccess. It was between 9:30 and 10:00a Eastern that I was using it, so that's within your timeframe.

I'm in Maryland area code 20607, probably picking up a tower in DC or VA (well, at least until the phase 4 DC expansion to the suburbs is completed), and we we're having some speed issues on Saturday morning.

We were still EVDO, but speeds were 150-200 down, 25 or less upload. By afternoon, all appeared well, back up to our normal 350-400 with the booster antenna (we're in the trees on the fringe of the current service area, we can barely connect without the booster antenna).
