I have been trying to decide what card I should get but I can't seem to find any good user reviews on any particular card. Any recommendations?

Also, I read a posting here that showed how to share your EV-DO connection over Wi-Fi to allow others to log in. If I do this will, anyone be able to steel my signal? Will I be able to share my connections to my PS2 or Xbox for online games? Please help.

What laptop do you have?

Here is what I would recommend.

If you have a Mac/ PowerBook, I would consider the PC5220 or the Novatel V620. However, understand that the V620 will NOT currently give you an icon in your menu bar that shows you signal strength, EVDO vs. 1xRTT network type, and activation (PC5220 does).

If you have Windows 2000/XP, all the cards work well and come with an installation CD. The two newer cards are the Novatel V620 and Kyocera KPC650. Some reviewers found the KPC650 to be the leader and some have found the Novatel V620 to be the leader. You really cannot go wrong with either.

Regarding sharing your EVDO connection, you are probably referring to these URLS:

http://www.EVDOinfo.com/Tips/PC_5220/Windows_Sharing_EVDO_2005021759/

Your operating system allows you to password protect your shared connection, so that it is NOT freely available.

Also, understand, the Terms of Service.
