I am not sure why this is on the monthly bill for a unlimited data plan, but it is there:
| Quote: | | 3-Way Calling, Busy Transfer, Call Forwarding, No Answer Transfer, Call Waiting, Call Delivery...Voice Mail Plus |
Please do not get confused by this, your Data card is not a phone, those features do not function on a data card. Yes, it is confusing, but probably just some billing snafu.
Be sure to also read the thread on EVDO taxes being a nickel on your bill. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| Oddly enough, I truely do have voice mail capability associated with the phone number assigned to my Verizon PC 5220. There is nothing I can do to access it from the data card, but if I dial the number, I can create a greeting and retrieve voice mail messages that folks may have left for me. I suspect the other features are there as well, I just don't have a way of accessing them. |

Funny thing, all of us may have a cool "free" voice mail box that we didn't know about.
I just called my EVDO Card number and entered pound to setup my voice mailbox and created a password.
Next, I called my data card and left a voice message.
Next, I called my data card, entered
#
then my password that I created above.
I was able to retrieve my message that I just left. Funny thing, I also had 3 other messages from marketing companies.
So, it looks like voice mail (which is on our bill), does indeed work. Anyone else want to try and post results here? _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| That means that you could set up call forwarding and actually receive incoming calls to the card number on another phone. Interesting! |
