The problem is not compatability, its policy. VZW will not activate a Sprint device (ESN), and Sprint will not activate a VZW one.

The answer is either an EVDO card or a tethered phone. I have a TXN15 P/B with built in Sprint WWAN, but since my provider is VZW, I use my Vaio tethered to my Samsung i730 phone.

I think this policy sux, but until we get some legislation/regulation to prevent it, we are essentially stuck with it.

BTW, VZW's advertising buzword for tethering is "BroadbandAccess Connect".

What's the difference between the 15 & 17 models beside 1GB RAM & $500?
