For me I use ICS (internet connection sharing) in network properties for my modem. then run a coax cable from my x360 to my shared nic and poof it works...took a little tweeking but now I can do it real fast.

I can't get Gears to work at all, all my guy does is "skate" around. COD 3 plays pretty much perfect as long as the games stays to around 8 or 10 players. I can even use the headset with it. My speed is 50 kbps on my bellsouth dial up. I even checked to see if they could bind 2 dial up connections together, but they can't. I also had to change the MTU size on my dial up connection from 576 to 1365 with a program called WinAso easy tweak, otherwise it always failed the MTU test. You guys feel free to send me a friend request on Live, my tag is Bl00dVayN3 (zeroes instead of o's.) Has anyone here got any updates to how the EVDO works for live? From looking up some stuff on Rev. A, it looks like it would be optimum for live, especially since I saw where the ping time range from low 100 ms to mid 200 ms.

The easiest way is to set up internet connection sharing (ICS). Here is a link on how to do it.

Hello everyone. I am thinking of getting the Sprint EVDO Broadband Service. I live in Los Angeles, specifically Santa Ana, CA. But where I am I do not have access to a hardwired lanline so DSL and cable are a no go for me.

I would like to know if Sprint's EVDO speeds are fast enough to play over Xbox Live at the moment?I will be playing mostly racing games like Ridge Racer 6. Has anyone tried playing RR6 over the EVDO connection? How were the results?

I would also like to know what hardware is needed. I have heard you can get a usb EVDO modem, as well as amplifiers to make the signal faster. Can anyone recommend or point me to where I can check out some of the hardware needed to get on live? I won't be using a router so that's not necessary. Just mainly either my 360, or my laptop.

Thanks in advance Smile

All you should have to do is enable ICS on your dial up modem, connect to your dial up internet, and then plug a CAT5 cable from the PS2 into the NIC in your PC. This is how I connect to XBOX live over dial up, and play Call of Duty 3 every night with no problems. If a CAT5 cable doesn't work, try a crossover cable. Don't turn the PS2 on until the internet is connected, or it may not obtain an IP address.

Bighurt has tried it, and he said it works great. Unfortunately for people like me, we are unable to get EVDO at this time. Bighurt said it plays beautifully though.
