| On the street level maps if you zoom in far enough it will show a green pattern instead of solid green in affiliate markets. |

Googled for iPCS map, and found this...
Methinks Sprint also has corporate owned cell sites in some of these areas as well. IE, Lincoln NE shows as iPCS but they've had EVDO for quite a while.
Also found via google that Shentel is in pockets of W Virginia. Swiftel is in N Dakota. Northern PCS is in rural Minnesota. Sprint bought Enterprise and Ubiquitel so there are only 4 affiliates left, iPCS being the largest and the others quite small.
Sprint should buy iPCS when the time is right. They need control of the national network. |
