After I install the connection manager, which by the way never asked me about the card like the instructions said it would, I open the manager. It prompts me to insert the U720 and so I do. Windows XP recognizes it but the connection manager never does. What do I do?

I'll try to help with the brief description of your problem. Did you try to uninstall the connection manager software then reinstall it? If that doesn't work, try, if possible, to put the card into another usb slot. If that doesn't work, then I'd try going to sprint's software site and download the newest drivers/software for it. Go to www.sprint.com/downloads and select xp in the box then submit. Then scroll down a little and look for Novatel S620/S720/U720 Connection Manager software Version 3.08.013. Download that. Make sure that before you install it you uninstall the previous version if it's still on the computer. If that doesn't work, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe the computer doesn't like the card or can't work with the card. Maybe the card is bad. Maybe I don't know what...
lol
See if that helps

I have another idea that you could do as a workaround but I'll wait and see if that fixes the problem before I post another suggestion to get it working.

Was there a fix for this ?
I have the same problem, and I haven't been able to get any additional info or help on the matter.

What was the 'workaround' solution ?
