Got my new KPC650 on 20FEB07 and installed this weekend ...

Performance and stability are better, but can still make it crash Sad

Same deal ... Heavy data streams and it drops connection which causes the KR1 to reboot.

I am now officially out of ideas ...

It seems that EVDO is no more stable than regular dialup, just faster

This link is to an experimental "nooff.bix" firmware which is my latest gps software with the ping stuff removed. I haven't been able to fully test it (won't until the weekend where I'll try some known dropout areas).

This might or might not fix the hiccups listed here, but try it - I'll try it further too, but if you are adventurous (also see the unbricking and firmware discussions), and have a dropout to reboot problem, give it a try.
