Phoebus MB6000/KPC650 & Alltel

Is anyone out there using this combo? I bought a KR1 anf - to put it bluntly - it sucks. It doesn't support VPN (I have no access to the configuration of the concentrator and I <shouldn't> need it), it seems to lose signal for no obvious reason, taking down the whole network, etc. I'm getting ready to return it but I'd like something else that actually works.

My understanding is that the Linksys will not work with the KPC650 and I came across a thread somewhere where people said that the MB8000 did not work with Alltel.

So right now my options seem to be:

- return all of my equipment and go back to ISDN. Yuck.
- Buy a MB6000. Expensive but at this point I'm willing to do it.
- Build a stompbox. No guarantee that this will work and I just don't feel inspired to futz with linux kernels at this point. That's why I dumped Linux and bought a Mac.

Help.

Oh yeah. My understanding is that all of the new alltel is Rev A. Has anyone heard of a rev A card from Alltel?
