Now that a Sprint driver works for both Mac & PC Laptop platforms does anyone have a read on the battery drain with this USB attached device? Is it significant? I know exact measures are a pain so I would appreciate any anecdotal judgements as well. Either Mac or PC observations would be useful
Thanks! |

i've had the U720 for a few days now and it seems that with the usb modem connected (with cable) to my MacBook Pro, i'm getting about 2 hours usage on my laptop with the screen on high brightness about 80% of the time.. and half brightness 20%. wifi and bluetooth off.. safari browsing and ichatting...
2 hours is about an hour less than what i usually get. i get anywhere from 2.5-3.5 hours on a full charge.
what i'm wondering is how the u720 compares with an s720 or the express card equivalent. |
