Just got it two weeks ago, it still has that new-phone smell Very Happy

I have a Novatel Wireless Merlin S720 CardBus card as well but I called Sprint and got them to let me test the performance of the A900M. So I plugged it up to my desktop (because it's faster than my laptop) and began testing.

At first it seemed to be doing the same speed as my S720, which is 1mbit down and around 130k up. If I NDIS my S720 I can get a 2.4mbit connection so I was a little disappointed that NDIS isn't possible with the A900M.

Speed seemed good, had downloads going at 90kb/s +- and it didn't drop the connection at all for the first hour. Logged in Anarchy Online and it seemed okay, I got a second of upload lag from time to time but nothing that made it unplayable. So I tried a speed test at one of the local Cable ISP sites, and here is what I actually was getting.

765kbit down
90kbit up

Doesn't seem too great compared to my S720, but the A900M is also great to have because it's USB and I can use it with any computer so long as there is a USB port. I haven't tested much further because my trial time is up now, but I'm thinking about just paying the extra $20 a month for tethering. Right now I've got the A900M hooked up to the QPST tool trying to find some entries relevant to the data connection, but so far I haven't found anything. That doesn't mean there isn't anything Very Happy

I'll keep you updated.
