Building on its successful strategy of providing customers superior wireless services in the United States, Verizon Wireless New England regional president Bob Stott today announced the expansion of two award-winning services in Massachusetts, one developed for the consumer market, the other primarily for business customers. V CAST – the nation’s first wireless broadband multimedia service for consumers – and BroadbandAccess, the fastest wide-area wireless Internet access service available in the nation, are both available today in the many more Massachusetts cities and towns, expanding on existing service in greater Boston and the 495 corridor. New V CAST and Broadband Access coverage includes:

North: Coverage expands from existing service on 495 into Lawrence, Methuen, Haverhill, Merrimac, and Salisbury. Coverage also expands south to the North Shore and Cape Ann to the existing coverage along the Route 95 corridor in Wilmington, Saugus, and Lynn.

South: South Shore coverage expands from Braintree to Kingston on Route 3 to the water and west of Kingston to Bridgewater, Raynham, Middleboro, and south along Route 140 to existing coverage in New Bedford. Coverage also expands west of New Bedford along Route 195 into Westport, Fall River, and Swansea.

West: Coverage has expanded from the existing service on 495 from Westborough south along 495 to existing service n Wrentham.
