I am in a motel in Kingsland, Ga. (SE Ga. on the Ga. - Fl. line on I-95) I have been here for several weeks for business and have been on EVDO for well over a month. I am using a PC5740 Alltel card in a KR1 and normally getting speeds in the 1.1meg range on the download side and around 60 - 90 on the up side. Right now I'm not getting a very strong signal on the KR1 signal meter. Normally I get all but 2 bars. Right now I'm only getting 5 bars (half the meter)

I just noticed though just above the KR1 signal meter it says

Connection Sprint-PC5740

Does this indicate that I am roaming on Sprint? I never noticed this before.
