How to get signal strength?

I am new to Verizon and I received my freedom antenna today for my Kyo 650, but cannot tell if signal strength is boosted. MY VZ Access Manager Test of the WWAN device does not show the red thermometer or specify the signal strength. How can I tell if I am benefiting from the antenna? Thanks!

Choose the same host city each time.

ust hover over signal strength meter at bottom of VZAccess manager. Or you can click ->help -->about VZAccess Manager. True benifit IS Showen w/speed tests.
