Is it just that hard to make work or has it been bypassed for the NEXT latest greatest? I bought the U720 counting on/hoping for it to be supported by the KR1. A word of some kind would be nice if possible. |

| Well, my word isn't The Word™ by any stretch of the imagination but I will say that it is still in progress. There will be an additional security related fix that had to be developed as well. |

have got USB720 from VZW, would like to see new firmware to fully support.
Local Fre's store has D-Link DIR-415 model, similar or same box as KR1, but can the latest firmware of KR1 be applied onto it?

I assume you mean the DIR-450? If so, KR1 firmware cannot be used on the 450 and the reverse is true as well. They are built on different hardware platforms that have different chipsets. |

Well, yet another month passes without any new firmware. Any chance it's "coming soon?" If so, what exactly is the KR1 developer's definition of "soon"? Does anyone know? 3 months and more since the following post:

I just got a couple of the U720 devices. This would be the point where I make an ominous and non-binding statement about support for the U720 in KR1 coming, "soon." |

Maybe DLink will beat them to it with a firmware update this time? _________________ Reach, Connect, Celebrate, Grow, Serve. |

Michael,
Does the KR1 come with a car power adaptor? I see a picture on your website but not sure if it's included in the advertised price or an optional accessory?
This is very good news and make this a lot more attractive than the newe 595U. Thanks for letting us know. |

| Yes, it comes with the car adapter in the box. At least it did in December when I got mine. That's one of things I think is so cool, A truly mobile hot spot cruising the highway at 70mph and 1000kbps!! |

This is great news! Can't wait to try it.
Any idea if future Kyocera firmware updates will continue to have the issue of browser limitations, as in the past? Should I expect to have to use IE for downloading firmware if necessary? |
