I've had it for a couple of months now and I like it. I had a V620 PC card for the last couple of years in a Dell 700m and was pleased with that but the built in card is far more seamless in operation and the built in antenna seems to get better signals.

When you set it up you can have it autoconnect to available wifi and it will switch back and forth depending on what's available. This all happens in the background and the only indication is the connection balloon and as soon as I figure how to turn that off I'll never know (except for the speed Smile )

I don't have to turn wireless on and I don't have to turn it off when I shut down which I really like. The M1210 has a physical switch to turn off wifi should you want to do that.

The 5700 is actually a Novatel 620 chip set and it performs similarly to my old V620 but with the advantage of the much more efficient antenna.

Since I already had EVDO I just bought the card from Dell for 179.00 and installed it myself (a tip, install the antenna leads on the chip *before* putting the card in the machine). Set up was a snap, it instantly updated itself and has been performing flawlessly ever since.

When Verizon get rev A sorted out, I'll get a new card, but based on the reports I'm seeing I might just keep the 5700. Smile
