I'm using a 15" powerbook with Tiger 4.1 - I followed the steps and the installer seemed to fix the first file 'appleverizonsupport.plist' but the kicker file is now blank - when I restart the system and insert the card, the card is not recognized - simply shows unknown for the PC card indicator - Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If the kicker file is blank, that indicates that you didn't spell the name exactly right while typing in the terminal app. What I recommend, is just to copy and paste from the web site. You can just copy and paste these into the Terminal application:

sudo pico AppleVerizonSupport.kext/Contents/Info.plist

sudo pico AppleVerizonSupportKicker.kext/Contents/Info.plist
