| Alltel must be in the process of rolling out the EVDO network in the Columbia, SC area. Haven't seen anything official about it but I keep getting the EV icon on my Blackberry at various points around town. Anyone else know anything about this? |

| Service launches on Dec 11 - unlike Verizon, they are waiting to get it right! |

| I'm also getting the red "EV" icon on my Moto RAZR V3C. I only use Axcess to download AccuWeather radar, etc. What difference, if any, will this make to my download speed? Thanks. |

does having EVDO kill your battery life?
I have a RIM BlackBerry 7130e and since the testing has started, I haven't been able to keep a charge -- i have to charge almost constantly... |

I think they might have gotten it right!!
my phone is 1XEV solid for the last few minutes. I am downtown on a BB 7130e.
It has been going crazy with up down arrow, too. Not sure what that could be.... |
